The Alumni/ae Experience

The St. Stephen’s experience does not end when you graduate. On the contrary, once leaving the walls of the school, you enter a new community, one built upon strong bonds formed through common history and experiences. With over 4,000 alumni/ae over 50 years, St. Stephen’s is represented globally with individuals pursuing careers in every field imaginable.

As a school, we seek to honor this diverse, inspiring and supportive network of individuals by continuing to create and enhance relationships between alumni/ae, staff, faculty and students, foster loyalty and engagement with the school and one another and build pride, spirit and community. Through regional events, social media and opportunities for career networking and mentoring, alumni/ae are able to continue and build upon the St. Stephen’s experience in all future endeavors. Our alumni maintain a strong presence and are an integral part of the St. Stephen’s community.

If you are interested in being involved in regional events and volunteering to support and strengthen our alumni/ae network, contact Alumni Relations Director Simona Monaco at simona.monaco@sssrome.it

Alumni News & Events

May 18, 2021

Our guest speaker and lecturer next week will be the Icelandic poet and author Andri Snaer Magnason, whose most recent work, On Time and Water, is a bestseller in Italy in the Italian edition published by Iperborea. He is currently working on his documentary Apausalypse in which he travels around Iceland interviewing artists and philosophers on the impact of the pandemic on our lives. In his book On Time and Water, which will be next week's prize for our weekly trivia, he reflects on the impact of climate change on Iceland's glaciers in a personal memoir which blends science, poetry and his family history.

Andri Snaer Magnason will be our guest speaker at a morning meeting talk on Thursday May 27 from 10.25 to 10.45 and he will be joining our Environmental Systems and Societies 1 and Creative Writing classes on Thursday and Friday. Finally, parents and teachers are invited to a zoom talk (please RSVP by Friday May 21st by emailing janclaus.diblasio@sssrome.it) on Friday May 28th at 6 PM. Andri will share preliminary short readings and extracts for those who will attend the zoom talk.
