Giving FAQs
Yes! However, most of our donors choose to give to the St. Stephen’s Fund, the school’s unrestricted annual fund program, to ensure that their gift is used to address the school’s most urgent needs. St. Stephen’s Fund gifts benefit all students.
Yes! Donors giving $1,000 or more annually may pledge their gift over a period of up to five years, and they may designate their gift to the program of their choice.
Yes, donors wishing to include the school in their estate plan may do so, and they will be invited to join the Patterson Society, which recognizes and honors the extraordinary people who remember St. Stephen’s through bequest intentions, charitable remainder trusts, and other life-income gifts.
As a way of demonstrating our sincerest gratitude for donations, all donors to St. Stephen’s School receive:
Mens Voluntas Gratia Society
Donors giving $5,000 or more annually qualify for membership to the Mens Voluntas Gratia Circle, which comes with benefits, including lunch on campus, regional salon dinner with subject experts and school leadership, a private faculty-led tour, and St. Stephen’s apparel.
Novi Fundatores/St. Stephen’s Senators
In honor of their visionary investment in the future of the school and the lives of future generations of students, donors who give $100,000 or more during their lifetime are recognized as Novi Fundatores, or new founders.
Patterson Society (formerly Legacy Society)
The Patterson Society recognizes and honors the extraordinary people who remember St. Stephen’s through bequest intentions, charitable remainder trusts, and other life-income gifts.
