St Stephen's wins the RoboMed robotics tournament this weekend!
They were wonderfully supported by the work of fellow Robotics 1 classmates Emmanuelle C, Giacomo S and Matteo R, who were unable to attend. Ms Levenson and Ms DiCataldo were impressed by their creative designs, precise programming, positive attitude, and calm determination. They won the Tug-of-War event and came second in all the other challenges of the first day, and never lost their lead throughout the tournament in a field of 13 teams from schools from Tunis, Lisbon, Milan, and Madrid as well as AOSR and Marymount.
Veteran RoboMed roboticists Nadia G, Tommaso DG and Giovanni Bgave up their time on Friday and Saturday to serve as judges for various events. Their careful explanations of the rules of the events to the 95 participants and their enthusiasm helped everyone involved to learn and to have a great time.
Well done, St Stephen's!!
