Before you escape for your summer destinations, consider joining our SAT course.
We will meet at St. Stephen’s campus every afternoon from Monday the 19th of June through Thursday the 29th of June.
The course will begin with a diagnostic test covering all sections. Each student’s beginning score range will be determined, and we will discuss how the performances match up to the requirements of those colleges to which each student hopes to be admitted. Thereafter, class time will be devoted to learning the test-taking strategies and tactics specific to each section. The remainder of the course will involve practising these strategies; identifying individual strengths and weaknesses; developing skill sets both independently and through collaboration, and becoming familiar and comfortable with the internal logic of the test.
These aims will be accomplished by taking, reviewing, and discussing practice sections at every meeting. We will conclude with a second diagnostic exam followed by advice for your preparation going forward.
As an instructor, I bring eight years of experience working as an SAT teacher for St. Stephen’s and as a private tutor. I’ve witnessed, and am confident in, the improvement that can be attained through disciplined study and practice.
